No. Males didn’t want to watch it because it just flat out sucked and was loaded with SJW PC bull shite...much of it degradeing men. I could look past the SJW shite because it’s easy to look past petty, unoriginal, thoughtless drivel and if you watch movies, you’re use to it.

I could not look past just how bad and unfunny it was. Terrible movie on all fronts. Like Star Wars...another major franchise going with a major reboot after a failed SJW campaign.

lolz

It was shitty and quite often the opposite of funny actually.

The vast majority of critics who gave it good reviews did so simply so they wouldn't be labeled misogynists or racist.

It always struck me as odd that he just happened to have a sedative on his person for his date with a woman way out of his league. Like, who just has thorazine lying around? Shameful.

Jesus titty fricking Christ.

So according to that article the chick version failed due to internet trolls and racism.

Nothing to do with it being a horrible movie.

I was looking at that too. That Leslie Jones really hates white folks. I get she was hit pretty hard with some of the internet trolls, but you truly do reap what you sow.

Kind of like Major League III. Some movies are best forgotten.

Do a little research. The "girl" version was an independent movie that had 0 correlation to the original movie. So the new movie is going to have nothing to do with that movie, with no offense to it.

It appears that Reitman’s sequel will completely ignore Paul Feig’s 2016 reboot of the franchise, which recast the main characters as women, starring Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, Kristen Wiig, and Melissa McCarthy. Umm no the movie was terrible and no it wasn't generally received well and the reason there wasn't a second movie made.

The female version wasn't bad. It wasn't particularly good either. It felt like a well-made, SJW, SNL skit, chinese copy of the original. Just a big FU to the original movie and its fans.

I hate liberals. They ruin everything.

Casting Leslie Jones will doom a movie to failure because she is simply unlikable, untalented, and every time she's on a screen it's completely transparent why she's there. People like Paul Feig think they're doing women favors by forcing them into roles instead of letting the women/minorities make the roles themselves. If I was a woman or other minority and people were shoving me down the public's throat for their own selfish reason of getting in good with the PC crowd I'd be more offended than being ignored or not considered

And in reality even they knew it was shite. They just have to say they liked it because they are incapable of independent thought

I guess they didn't watch that Gillette commercial. This oozes with toxic masculinity.
