They counted Mack Brown... was he an active coach in 2018?

I respect him as should we all. Saban bailed on us and he came in with little to no fanfare. He won a title, maintained and strengthened our program's success including fielding the best team of the modern LSU era in 2011. Only 3-5 coaches in his era that could've done as well as he did here. He ran into the Saban era and it cost him more success.
I will forever claim '11 in my mythical national title count. We won the game that really mattered to both teams and staffs. In Tuscaloosa. Game of the century and all. Les led the way. People will settle down over time.

Well, most that have that malady congregate here. It's a pity party club.

I don't see how it's a slight against LSU. And maybe they didn't know Miles is at Kansas since they see him in all these commercials.

ESPN knows more about sports leagues than the leagues know about themselves! Your statement is hideous.

Absolutely

But some are fixated. It's been a couple years, time to let go

He was just as active as a coach in 2018 as Mack Brown was, huh? Certainly more relevant in the college football landscape.

Stop. He had a shot to go to the NFL. That’s hardly “bailing”.

Quit being a bitch.

And they left off Urban, if 2018 activity was the criteria

The fan base that he won 100+ games and a national championship for doesn't respect him. Why would ESPN?

This right here.

Frankly, it could just have been an oversight.
but then, what purpose does this view justify?

SVP is about as pro LSU as he is Maryland. I'm sure it was an oversight.

The SEC commercial during the NCG was proof of that. Every other SEC school gets shown doing some sciencey thing or some RB leveling a LB. LSU gets crawfish being poured out on a table. That's what the portray for LSU.

ESPN respects him so much they didn't want to embarrass him by acknowledging he now coaches Kansas.
