I was thinking trying out Cajun Market Meats for a pig I just shot. I never had anything processed around here before.

M&S grocery on La. Avenue did a few for me. No complaints. But then again, Millard and Ryan are my podnuhs, so...

I use Chadleys off of Pinhook. Get some Pot Pies and Burritos.

Depends, what you’re looking to get done with it? Never used MC Taxidermy but heard they’re high like giraffe ears. Chadleys has done me wrong, put the X on them all I’ll say about that. Most of the time I use Adrian’s or Best Stop. Will be getting some tamales done at another place this year per the recommendation of a friend but can’t think of the name, Lafayette area.

I've used M&S Grocery years ago and they were good.

Last year tried Matt Courville's in Carencro, his smoked sausage was awesome. He uses ribeye fat in it...very good flavor.

I tried Elliot's slaughter house in Morse for a deer a killed this year. I haven't got it back yet but I've had the sausage from there through family members and it was good. Morse is about 45 minutes from Lafayette.

I've also used a guy that does it out of his house Jared Sonnier. He's good and makes burritos and all kinds of sausages (smoked, Fresh, ect…). He's in Lafayette 337-316-1072.

Lagneaux's does a great job and so does Courville as stated above. His packaging is second to none and his sausage is fantastic.

Haven't tried their tamales but Adrien's on Congress does them. I've had them process a deer and a hog so far this year but no sausage or anything made, just cut up/seasoned/vacuum sealed. Seasoning is great but can't comment on anything else yet.

Acadiana Wild Game Processing (Matt Courville’s) is the best I’ve found. The service is awesome and the Cro Sticks, Cajun Sugar with Jalapeño, and basically everything they do is top notch. You can drop it off 24/7 and it’s usually back to you in two days at the most. I’ve tried most of the others and he was by far the best.

Adrian’s Supermarket - $80-90 a deer (last year)

Ribeye fat, Extra green onion, extra garlic powder

I make ground meat with all my deer with the above. Stand alone best deer ground meat I’ve ever had.
