And my dog is a very docile submissive dog. He never instigates fights. He's a border collie
I was using my gopro to film christmas when it happened. So I have it on video also.

Is there any hope for this dog or will he need to be put down?

It has nothing to do with that and everything to do with the fact that women can't raise dogs.
Or children either for that matter

Mistake #1.
Call the Vet. See if you can get them to report the dog to animal services. The will take the dog.

Consider this OP, you know of at least 2 instances if not 3 already. What are the chances it happens again to a little kid or someone else’s dog that sued your daughters butt off? Just not worth it to me.

Pitbulls are usually more aggressive to other dogs and animals. They are trying to establish dominance, that is usually why they attack kids, they view them as equals. He is just trying to establish where he is in the pack. The alpha needs to establish dominance, but you shouldn't kill him for what his instincts are telling him to do.
Not at all. Sounds like the dog has real potential based on its instincts. tiger94gopo you got in Michael Vick type connections? We shouldn't hinder this pups attempts to establish where he is in the pack, right?

It's actually a good combo. I've lived with two, and known a few others. They've all been driven, smart, and obedient

WTF? All I meant was he didn't have to kill the dog and the dog is his daughter's responsibility, so make accommodations for the dog (separate him from other animals, muzzle, find a new owner, etc.). This is more on ownership and not understanding the animal than the dog, he is just being a dog. Now how you got your conclusions, I don't what is wrong with you.

Nothing? That’s certainly not true. There’s plenty of breeds that have almost no issues no matter the owners .

Wait till he gets out and attacks the neighbors kids and they find out that it has attacked your dog twice and cat once! That should be an easy lawsuit for "Get Gordon"!

It's amazing what a little peanut butter on the end of a shotgun barrel can do for bad dogs...

When I was probably about 13 years old I used to fish at this local pond that I knew the owner really well. He had a pit bull I would pet every day. Sometimes I would take a break from the bass fishing and catch some enormous catfish. She (pitbull) would come lay by me while I was fishing and I would pet her every day. She was very old and spoiled. She had no teeth. I was petting her one day and lunged at me biting my forearm. I can remember this 33 years later it was like having a vise on your arm. She would not let go the owner was there and had to hit her over the head with a 2x4 to get her to release. He then put the dog down. Pits are too unpredictable for me.

First you start 1/2 a roux. Just cook the pitbull part.

I think he needs to be put down but I'm 100% sure she won't do it because she's had him 3 years

You didn't kill the fricker the first time.

Does your daughter live with you, or is she there with her dog for the holidays?

He should have been aborted. Time for the $2.00 solution.
