My daughters dog attacked my dog

He's attacked my dog twice (this time putting him in doggie hospital) and he's attacked the cat once. Is there any hope for this dog or will he need to be put down?

Pitbulls are usually more aggressive to other dogs and animals. They are trying to establish dominance, that is usually why they attack kids, they view them as equals. He is just trying to establish where he is in the pack. The alpha needs to establish dominance, but you shouldn't kill him for what his instincts are telling him to do.

I've rehabbed a few "bad dogs" into good pets, but also think there are just too many good dogs available for the regular family-type dog owners to get instead of a bad dog. This is a bad dog so get rid of it.
And, even more importantly, all pit bulls and pit bull mixes should be put down at birth. They're just garbage dogs with unnecessarily risky temperaments.

I was on my way outside with a 2x4 to bash his head in because I didn't have my pistol handy. If not for my family he was dying yesterday.
