Am I the only one who forgets Missouri (and sometimes A&M) is in the SEC?

When I see the football, baseball scores, I forget. Especially Missouri.

But muh Jimbo Fisher and A&M’s $100,000,000 investment already led them to an 8-4 season. He just needs like 5 more seasons to get them to the 10 win mark and then their ridiculous investment that will never see a profit will finally pay off

You realize Miami is a small private university just like Vandy right? They only have 11k undergrad students. It's a top 50ish university in the country.

Of course I do. I thought this was sports related, though. If you take out their football, basketball and baseball programs over the last 30 years their academics would probably be top 10.

We are all SEC. All 14 teams. All 14 schools. Why keep beating a dead horse with questions about our various bonafides and pedigrees?

The only thing Kentucky gave us is Bourbon and I thank them so!

It’s not just because they are late to the game.

But Aggy’s dick-riding of Alabama is beyond bizarre.

Their male cheer-boys that literally grind each other on the 50 yard line whilst cupping their own balls makes me stare at my iPhone for more than a few seconds, wondering, “what the hell is that?”

They really don’t belong to any conference as they have tried to separate themselves from literally ANY school.

It’s a “hey, look at us,” mentality that makes other folks actually comply by.....well, having a look, then thanking themselves for not being a fan of their team.

There is nothing in college station that resembles the SEC. except money for their program.

I'd take Vanderbilt over Mizzou any day of the week.

At least they are decent in Baseball. NOt to mention, they are in the south. Missouri is not the south. They suck at all 3 sports (ok, sometimes they are decent in basketball), and their student body is comprised of liberal snowflakes.

Their women's bowling team plays in a different conference and just won their second national championship.

Its, not Vandy's only sport that plays outside the SEC.

Your numbers are incorrect and you didn't dispute the most pertinent part of my rebuttal.

Bama has more 1st Rd picks and All-Americans(Elite talent) from their home state than any of the the other teams mentioned.

I disregarded your numbers when I saw AL with 55 and LA with 60.

AL had 60 on opening day rosters and LA had 59. Your numbers are either dated or wrong.

211 — Florida

185 — California

175 — Texas

123 — Georgia

76 — Ohio

60 — Alabama

59 — Louisiana

Geographically and culturally, it's Mizzou.

A&M, culturally, is very much an SEC team. Big stadium, tailgating, etc.

MU is closer to Chicago than it is to any other SEC city except Fayetteville.

Kentucky... Cult following for a Basketball Coach who has a once great program in a sharp decline....In football they draw most of their best players from northern states... and more than any other school they refuse to recognize the obvious.... and a lot of their opinions are drivel spouting from from the lips of Matt Jones.... a guy who worships Calipari and has a sports level general knowledge on the level of a middle schooler... SAD

Florida, Georgia, and Texas have more players due to population, but pound for pound the kids from Bama are just dogs.

really, then why doesn't Bama recruit and play more of them? Only 5 out of the 24 starters listed on their offense and defense depth charts are even from Alabama (the same number that come from Louisiana). Like I said, it has become more of a national high school recruit all star team than anything representative of the state of Alabama. Nothing wrong with that. It just is what it is.

the state of Alabama does produce a lot of NFL talent, but no where near what Louisiana does. On a per capita basis per 100k residents Louisiana has 1.36 NFL players (the most of any state) compared to Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, South Carolina, and Nebraska which are all basically tied for second most all ranging from .87 to .84

shite man, Louisiana almost doubles up on ya'll. I would be embarrassed if I were you.

College Station is the only SEC town that doesn’t have a Waffle House. Easy answer
