I’m sorry, it appears that way huh? Sime are very fortunate and I couldn’t be happier for them.

You should never judge your insides against someone else’s outsides.

It’s a stresser. Many marriages crumble due to such. Glad yours didn’t.
Oh trust me, it almost did. Being displaced for 16 months, bouncing around then finally settling in a 2 bedroom 1 bath apt with a toddler and a pregnant wife while trying work and rebuild our house, fighting daily with my contractor so we could finally get back into our before Christmas of 2006, yeah, that wasn’t the best year and half of my life. Not sure how we made it through.

I’m really sorry you and your family had to go through that my friend.

We as men are to blame. We communicate that this behavior is acceptable by doing nothing to demonstrate the contrary. Ok yeah we get mad whatever. But if we as a whole started separating ourselves from those women who show even a little bit of a childish behavior, this wouldn’t be as prevalent. It would never happen because the legal system is tilted towards women

frick that. I do. I throw a fit and then sleep in the guest bed. I fart myself to sleep like a baby. And I don’t say goodnight.

Well put. Those and more are probably headed your way if you are just starting out.
Speaking as a marriage veteran of more years than I care to name it’s worth if IF:
You have picked somebody, who, at the end of a long day you can shake your head and laugh with over all the great and stupid things life handed you.
You've taken vacations involving long scenic rides where neither one has to say anything, but if one of you does they can just start in the middle of an idea and the other person can chime in yea or nay.
You hope that one day in retirement you will be able to spend more time with that person.
You both feel vested enough to forgive and forget for the team.
Since you are going to put work into the marriage, put some work into the screening process.

Natures way of telling you to get a younger woman. Nature doesn't ever lie, that is a fact!

Interesting thread.
Sometimes I think I want to get married. But hearing my married friends talk about their non existent sex life while I'm detroying 21 year old poon nips that pretty quickly.
Those that are in an unhappy relationship, if you've tried to make it right and it hasn't, why not move on? One one life bro.

After our first kid. Pretty sure she was post-pardum and was too hard headed to go get help for it. Was never the same and our marriage suffered. You can't put the kid ahead of your marriage either.

She changed this morning for work.

honestly, mine was already changing for the worst in the lead up to the engagement. Things only continued to decline from there, but I was too stubborn to turn back.

When she started taking zoloft. Totally different person. Unlikeable.
