There’s a difference between changing as a person and having mental problems requiring medicine and/or therapy.

Explain your answer. Give evidence or examples of both to support your claim.

Getting someone to accept they either need to talk to someone or get medicated is an uphill battle.

I guess crazy doesn’t know they’re crazy but seems to me someone somewhat normal would be aware of just how miserable they are.

My wife went off the deep end in the first year or two of marriage, being paranoid as frick and clingy, amongst other things, then claiming all the issues were my fault and I needed therapy because my sanity slipped dealing with it.

I know I’m no picnic but if the change in my behavior is in direct response to her bullshite, then she needed to be examining herself instead of saying “Maybe you need your dose upped” in response. Medicating the problem doesn’t fix anything as much as put a band aid on it if you aren’t dealing with underlying issues.

Turned out she had undiagnosed depression and ADHD amongst other things but it took several years to make her go to the doctor and get properly screened so they could see if she needed medicine.

She still has issues but they are decidedly milder now that her thoughts are more under control and she doesn’t just get into the bed and shut off from everyone because she is depressed.

Mine would have dared me to flip the switch. Complete with gesturing and all. She’s the best.

All women are crazy. It’s just how good they can hide it that makes the difference

The day she got pregnant. We've been glorified roommates ever since.

Girls just turned two last week.

Typically they may be aware of how miserable they are but not the “why” or “how do I fix it?”

They think drastic things will fix the problem when instead it just makes things worse.

Mine are 2 and 3. We're basically in a not-for-profit business partnership at this point, but it's getting better.

It doesn't help that she works full-time and I work full-time plus a couple side jobs. That adds more of the burden at home to her. It ain't easy

This really makes me sad.

I know it’s hard but you’ve got to make your marriage a priority. When the kids leave you’ll have NOTHING ago take about and you’ll be living with a stranger.

It's a tongue-in-cheek way to put it, but the honeymoon is definitely over. We love each other very much, but between work and the kids, our relationship has definitely evolved or been more stressful.

Around the time I caught her cheating on me.

My attorney told me that the largest majority of divorces he handles, deal with women in their mid 40's
