since you starting watching LSU football? I am talking about their full contribution in their freshman year.
I am not sure how others will think it ranked, but Justin Vincent in 2003 is one that stands out for me. What do you have?

Dalton Hilliard, Grant Delpit, Ben Wilkerson, and Kevin Faulk stand out to me.

Leron Landry has to be considered
Lead a championship team in tackles as a true freshmen at a new position.

Jerel Myers is up there. 64 catches, 864 yards for a terrible team. He wasn’t a big time recruit either.

Kevin Faulk
Program savior type recruit, clearly the focus of the offense. Runs for 1000 yds, including 200+ in the bowl.

My first thought was Dalton hilliard but it's hard to ignore Tommy Hodson making All-SEC as a true freshman in 1986 and leading LSU to it's 1st SEC Championship and 1st top 10 finish since 1970.
