Trump ran a campaign were he said over and over again that Mexico is paying for the wall....
Okay, If Mexico is paying for the Wall like he said, why aren't Republicans holding him accountable for what he said?
He's willing to shutdown the government over funding he said Mexico would provide.....
He has never come with real data on how much the wall cost, but wants to shut government down to pay for this cost....

As I recall Mexico just approved a new trade deal that will mean a net surplus of more than the cost of the wall to the United States. Trump will build the wall, Mexico will pay for it.

Mexico has already paid for the wall ten fold thanks to the improved trade deals negotiated by Trump.
He never meant they will send us a check dumbass.
The Congress now has to pony up.
Trump made them pay us in American jobs restored. A check from Mexico would have just been wasted by our crooked Representatives.

The military will build it at billions of $$$ of taxpayer expense. Not to mention the upkeep, maintenance, and manning of it.

If a wall is built and paid for up front by the U.S. gov, then Mexico will pay for it in the long run. It will frick them and they know it. They will have to start taking care of their poor instead of dumping them on us (and then relying on the money they send back).
