My top 5 would be:

1. Used Cars
2. Tombstone
3. The Thing
4. Big Trouble In Little China
5. The Deadly Tower

He's got a ton of great movies...what are your favorites?

Hard to argue those five. Used Cars is an all time classic.

As far as my favorites go I have to throw Overboard and Best of Times into the mix. Death Proof/Grindhouse too.

Anyone ever seen "Follow Me, Boys"?
Been a long time since I've seen it, but used to watch it as a kid. Great movie!

Just jumping back in this thread to cheerlead.

If you haven't watched Best of Times, watch it. If you like sports, your GF will like it, your wife will like it.

Maybe they'll get you after watching it.

It's not It's a Wonderful Life but it's a small sports version of it.

Best of Times...give the movie a chance.

With one of my favorite lines of all time.

A personal favorite of mine, though its not one of Kurt's top five, is Sky High (Disney's first superhero movie in the modern era). Its loaded with older actors who are having their time of their life and Kurt in particular seems to having a blast.

According to Bruce Campbell, of Ash vs. the Evil Dead fame, Kurt was an absolute delight to work with on the movie and spent his time with Bruce joking about the first Evil Dead movie. Evidently Kurt was a big fan.

Its not just that Kurt is talented, though he can hit for the cycle when it comes to acting, its also that he seems like a genuinely nice guy who loves what he does. Goldie Hawn's kids from her first marriage adore him and consider him their father. I've never heard anyone bad mouth Kurt that has worked with him. Hell, I've never heard of him being an a-hole to a fan.

I've seen Kurt in movies that weren't good, but he is always good. I can't praise an actor any higher then that.

He was awesome in recent films such as Hateful Eight and Death Proof. But will always be remembered for The Thing, Tombstone, Miracle, Big trouble in little China, Backdraft, Breakdown, not to mention Stargate! Definitely one of my favorite actors of all time!

I watched Breakdown again this past weekend. You are right, it is a great movie that's not very well known.

Top 3

Big Trouble in Little China
The Thing
Tombstone

And all 3 are among my top 10 movies of all time. Big Trouble in Little China was my favorite as a kid, and it holds up well. Love that movie.
