My brother killed an 8 point this weekend in the MS Delta. The rack was nothing special, but obviously a mature deer. A mere 290 lbs. What’s the heaviest deer you’ve killed?

I killed one in Concordia Parish that was north of 240.

Hunt in the delta as well and have killed a few does over 150 in the past couple years. We had 2 bucks over 250 last year with one going 270. Those are fun to drag out of the woods.

I’m in southwest ms and I’ve killed one 240. We kill several in 200-225 range a year.

Was a bit over 200#
Thought I missed him. My buddies dad was helping me find him and literally jumped into his arms when I saw the downed buck
Was an old deer and his horns were going down. A big 6 with a wide 18" rack. A single bullet from a 243 BAR made a difference. My buddy was 200 yards away and heard the shot and action cycle thinking I had shot more than once

Glass Cock Hunting club on the Mississippi river. Old 6pt. Weighed 265# and a old mule headed doe weighed 205#. Killed them both the same weekend back in 90'91' and still my biggest weight wise to date for Whitetail.

When did you hunt there? We were members in late 90’s early 2000’s

Haven't heard that name in years. My uncle had a camp there in the late 70's early 80's.
Oh, and 205# 7pt in N. Caddo.

182 pound Doe right outside of Ferriday

235lbs tall heavy 11 point in MS. Killed him Dec 27 running 6 does hard and had been for a while. As big as he was he was really poor looking not a scrap of fat on him. Not srue what he would have weighed before he got rutted down but in Nov they generally have a 2" layer of fat all over em in the area so I would guess prob about 30lbs heavier maybe?

Killed two in the same weekend that weighed 260 each. Near Ferriday.
