re: I kind of want an AR10 ...308, 7mm-08, or 6.5 Creedmore and why? - will1883 on 11/24/18 at 5:15 am
I don’t think the extra weight is worth the extra thump (at long ranges). Most of your thermal shots are going to be well within 100 yards. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)

What about 300 black out SBR suppressed? That’s what we run for thermal hunting for hogs. Lightweight (which is key), easy on the ears, and the caliber is fine for the effective thermal range. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: Thermal Experts Check In Here - will1883 on 11/18/18 at 5:19 am
I recently purchased a Pulsar Trail XQ38 ($3200) and really like it. I hunt with guys who use ATN and Night Optics. Everyone agrees the Pulsar is definitely the clearest, even over the $6K Night Optics. One guy has the cheap ATN and after hunting with the Pulsar for a couple of hours, I looked...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)

My guns get used frequently during the season and I’ll hunt in muddy and wet conditions. Definitely ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)

I’m renovating a house and will be putting a a Rinnai tankless hot water heater in the attic. I have natural gas at the house, but I’m not seeing advantages of the gas hot water heater. Does anyone have experience with these?...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (10)
re: Just found out I’ve got a large brain tumor today. - will1883 on 8/21/18 at 12:05 pm
My mother started having double vision one day. We found out she had a tumor in a very inoperable location. The only option was to treat with radiation using the gamma knife. The good news was, because of the location of the tumor, they feel certain it is a meningioma. These are almost always be...

Ideal lake depth question - will1883 on 8/6/18 at 12:33 pm
Our deer camp has some steep hill property in MS and lately we’ve been thinking about building a 10 acre fishing lake between two of the ridges. My concern is that the average depth in the lake would be too deep. I read where you want your average depth for a pond in MS to be 5-6 feet. I believe ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (8)
