I'm looking to insure a rental house in Baton Rouge. I'm hearing that people are not writing landlord policies in Louisiana, but have just started calling around. State Farm just told me they weren't writing landlord policies in Louisiana. Thanks in advance for any recommendations!

Insurance for Short Term Rental

I have a house in Baton Rouge that will be a short-term rental as soon as I can insure it properly. I’m just having trouble finding someone to insure it in the little that I’ve been calling around. Has anyone here done this lately or know of a company that will? Thanks in advance!

I planted a bunch of seedlings probably 6-7 years ago, but no acorns yet. We have a property with several mature sawtooth groves, approximately 1.5 - 2 acres in Claiborne County, MS. These trees are probably 30 years old and planted on a 7 yard grid. These make for an unbelievable target-rich bowhunting spot. Lots of action, both hogs and deer. The ground below the trees when they are dropping is 1 - 2 acres of dust from all the animals walking in there.

The extra drops are for small laundry and bathrooms, adding an additional 60-80 CFM.

Had a large well-known company come out and they quoted me almost $9K to replace the ductwork that their company had installed 2 years ago. Question of those with Apple AirPods Pro

I have some AirPod Pros and I have a question regarding talking on the phone with them. I usually use them so that I can multitask and be using my hands for something. The caller on the other end, however, cannot hold a conversation with me because of the noise that the microphones pick up. Is that normal? It's pretty annoying. These are normal tasks that would not be too noisy for a normal phone microphone. I pretty much can't do anything while on the phone with my AirPods pros. If this isn't a problem for anyone else, I guess I'll contact Apple.

I have a friend that just bought her first house in BR. There’s currently no landscaping, only grass. Is there a landscape architect that anyone recommends? This is a starter home, but it would be nice to get a good plan for her. Thanks in advance.
