Baton Rouge is only 3.5% Hispanic? That seems surprising to me, but I don't go to BR often and it's been about 5-6 years
That sounds about right. It was higher after the flood but I'm sure most have moved on.

They will blame black people. It’s the birthright of whites to blame black people for their issues.

I don't know, but I do know its covered in litter because people are trashy and have no pride in their city or state.
The amount of litter in South Louisiana is a fricking shame. Really embarrassing.

Seems low. Not sure why Louisiana doesn’t have more of a Hispanic population. Southern states like Georgia, Alabama and North Carolina, for example have a much more sizable Hispanic population than LA.

I was born in Baton Rouge but I tell the rich folk that I am from Austin.

Louisiana has a higher Hispanic percentage than Alabama. Georgia and NC have had explosive growth meaning more construction jobs and an influx of Hispanics.

Judge John Parker
Kids went from going to the neighborhood school to busing across the City to balance demographics. My wife went from an elementary school in her subdivision to a mandatory hour long bus trip across town. Development in adjacent parishes exploded along with private schools.

This....when kids went to schools in their neighborhood, Baton Rouge was a nice place to raise a family. Parker ruined the city and chased it's tax base away destroying the school system...We put our 3 in a private school (tried public but the school's were no longer safe), and moved to AP after all 3 had graduated.

Have you ever seen a city get better once city hall flips?

Baton Rouge DPW is an absolute joke, and has been for years. I’m not exactly sure what they do all day, because they sure as hell aren’t picking up litter, mowing city-owned common areas, fixing roads, or making infrastructure repairs. Whenever I’m in BR visiting family, I see city workers standing around smoking and playing on cell phones.

Gravy Chambers says STFU you racist bastard. In all reality BTR is run by inept people voted in by a inept electorate.

If Baton Rouge wants to fix its problems, just bring more Asians in by the bus load. They are peaceful, mind their own business and plant nice big gardens with flowers and trees that give off more oxygen to the air. The more Asians we have occupying space in our neighborhoods, the less space there is for hood rats and drug heads that rent out houses, trash the property and walk around with their pants on the ground which in turn lowers property values and attracts even more of them until it snowballs out of control and you get Sherwood Forest N of SF Blvd
