I have a public school, walking distance from my home. But we’re about to spend right around $6k for my kid to start private school next year....

I remember the 6k days. It gets more expensive. We live walking distance from Episcopal but I'm not paying 16-18k or whatever it is now.

We moved to BR in 1996. It was so green, clean and pretty. I loved it. By the time we moved again in 2014 it was not at all the same. Not sure what the problem was.

I paid $5K 30 + years ago for preschool and never less throughout my son’s school years.

Most towns of it's size are run down. Main Street died long ago, people fled to big cities.
