I grew up in NO, I never understood the attraction of BB. Besides being consistently the most unkempt dining area of any place in town, the food just ain't that great.

For fast food, ita pretty good. Burger cooked over Kingsford charcoal with shredded cheddar instead of American cheese sets it apart immediately.

I never understood it either. I make a way better burger at the house without much effort on a cast iron griddle using a gas grill.

Just drove by the City Park location. Closed!!! Lights off benches on top of tables. The sign has now been completely painted over. That old building needs a deep clean bc I hate to walk in and see what’s running around now that it’s not open! Was 24 hrs at least lights may have kept the cridders and roadents out.

Ian McNulty on the scoop here.

Also, Baton Rouge location already closed. He says, "A franchise in Baton Rouge near Tiger Stadium, also owned by Prince, closed in November, just months after opening."

Interesting if the owner is buying some back. I did not think there was any company owned. Which ones are company owned?

What are the reasons they were sold or closed?

Profitability? Inflexibility of the franchisor?

Edit: Cyborg, I was in your restaurant last week for lunch and I think it was you behind the counter. I didn't say anything to you because it looked like you were talking to one of your employees about something. About once a week I have to go to a business near your p!ace, and I try to time it around lunch to stop and get a #6 with chili, no onions, and a order of fries with a fry sauce. Good stuff.

I know a number of people who have had to directly deal with the franchisor in different situations and every last one of them cannot stand him and at some point simply refused to deal with him at all anymore.

Google the franchisor’s name and see what you discover.

I googled him. Yep, seems like he could be bad news.

I take it from previous comments you have a restaurant most likely in the New orleans area. Which one? I'll definitely check it out sometime if I havent already.
