25 years of intense interest in this event, detailed analysis and study, has caused me to firmly believe Oswald acted alone and the conspiracies are all interesting fiction.

People don't realize how the course of American History changed with Kennedy's assasination. He was about to pull troops out of Vietnam. The Civil Rights movement was at a standstill. With Kennedy gone, Johnson used the "Kennedy would have wanted this" narrative to usher in his "Great Society" BS. The military industrial complex had free reign in Vietnam with a President fully supporting it. Johnson lied so much about Vietnam to keep our troops there, its almost comical. Lady Bird's family was all up in Brown & Root. Check out the book " A Texan Looks at Lyndon".
It was Johnson with a gun on the grassy knoll.
How different would we be as a nation without the Vietnam quagmire and the Great Society???
