How about we hold the opinions of LSU will never develop a QB until after Salisbury is on campus.

These kids are still 3 years away from contributing.

Speaking of QBs.

Anyone have Peter Parrish’s numbers over the course of this season?

I mena He has a high 4 star WR and plays against teams like Country Day

Shouldn’t we have an idea now if he isn’t completing a lot of passes? Big arm. Is probably a project

I can't speak to what kind of kid he is. I have taken a lot of heat on here for not being all in on him. Here is my problem with him. He doesn't appear to be a good team leader. When the team runs out at the beginning of the game he is always the last one dragging behind. Always by himself never in a group. In warm ups when the team huddles up and is jumping around getting fired up, he is always off to the side by himself. When he comes to the side lines he tends be usually away from most of the team. Again I don't know he may be a great kid and teammate but his body language is that of someone that is a individual and not a teammate. As far as the record of the team, I love Hank and what he has done for my school but he didn't do the team any favors by going to this wide open spread offense. It just further exposed a bad defense and leaves them on the field to long. But I hope all of my observations are dead wrong and Finley works out.

Quite possibly, this could be the dumbest shite I have ever read on this board...seriously.

Isn't Brad Johnson related to Richt? Does he have an offer from Miami?

sorry but abbeville is filled with D1 talent all day long and we went 0-10 in consecutive years, sometimes the other teams cheat their asses off (ie Kaplan)

Max Johnson - Junior yr - hudl

I hate to say it but it looks like Max is Danny Etling 2.0. And Etling is one of my top 5 all time favorite Tigers because he was a great competitor and a good person. Loved his pocket awareness and toughness as well. But as a thrower, he was limited.

I see the same lack of arm talent from MJ.

Pros: Good athlete. Impressive size with stocky frame even at 6'4" - with room to put on more weight. Excels at throwing on the run.

Cons: Weak arm relative to what's needed at the D1 level. The few times he is able to put SOME zip on the ball in his highlights were the few times he put the lower half and upper half of his body in to the throw versus just upper half which he used most of the time. Still, his upper half and lower half were never quite in sync for any of his throws. Even so, his arm is weak. Really awkward left-handed throwing motion that will need tweaking. Accuracy wasn't ideal in making up for his lack of arm strength.

I really hope LSU does not sleep on Holstein.

I would love to know the record in high school of every starting QB in the SEC. If you think any of them only won 20% of their games, then you are fooling yourself. I get that he might not have the best supporting cast, but he should be able to win more than that if he is SEC caliber. Winners win, plain and simple.

He's a high 4 star, almost 5 star. #5 Pro style QB.

He's also a 2020 recruit so he will get stronger and his arm strength looks fine for a 16/17 year old.

LSU needs an elite QB to beat Bama ...preferably a dual threat.

Finley is a project with poor accuracy at this point. Bama D would eat him up IMO.

Parrish has the speed 4.6 and athleticism to give Bama problems if he can throw the ball accurately.

Most kids like Parrish don’t amount to much because they are innacurate passers.

Here’s hoping he pans out.

This is not a knock on any QB we are recruiting, but I really wish we would choose whether we wanted to be a team with a pocket guy or a dual threat guy.
