Hee Haw was one of favorites when I was a young buck.

My family didn’t care if there was a nuclear war going on around them, just as long as it didn’t interrupt Hee Haw.

The guy could play anything with strings at a world class or even virtuoso level. RIP Mr. Clark We were honored to have seen you play.

Thanks RedFoxx. He may not have been taken as seriously since he was the co-host of hee-haw, he was an extremely talented guitar player.

Saturday nights at my great grandparents with Lawrence Welk and Hee Haw back to back. I wanted to slit my wrists then, but I would kill to do it one more time.

Damn. Just damn.

I stayed at a Howard Johnson in Nashville in June of 1978. There was a cast party for Hee Haw going on, so I went in, met Roy and the other cast members. He was a really nice guy, what a loss.
