Scheme yes but 100%? Come on , Aranda couldn't stop Tua with scheme. Scheme alone is no answer for superior talent.

ut the idea that no coordinator could out up points with our offensive line is absurd and just cover for poor coaching

I don't think anyone thinks that no OC could put up points. The truth lies somewhere in the middle as always. A new OC would give us a better chance to put up points. Would they put up 60? I don't know. Probably not. Who cares? There are better options at OC. Period. And yes. We got killed on the LOS. And that needs to be improved. So wtf are people even talking about here? I don't know.

Without an offensive line that can block and give your QB time to throw, NO scheme will save us against Bama.

What about southeastern? The offense is ranked terrible in almost every category. So this offensive scheme works fine.....if you have 5 five star oline men?

No doubt scheme is a major issue for LSU against Bama. Canada's scheme averaged 3.6 ypc and and had over 150 yards even with -34 yards in sacks. It also produced the longest run we've ever had against Bama which came from an RB lined up in the wildcat faking a jet sweep for a 54-yard gain (very creative).

Ensminger's scheme has produced 45 total rushing yards on 52 carries in two years with the longest run by an RB being 9 yards. We had Fournette, Guice, D. Williams and now have two RBs who were averaging 5 ypc and 4.5 ypc, and the longest run in two years against Bama was by a QB. Burrow had an 11-yard run.

We held them to 29 points because they could not kick extra points, and they decided to run clock in the second half.

I may have exaggerated a little bit but they looked like matadors out there. All that they were missing was the Cape.

I think that we're all guilty of exaggerating to try to prove our points. I know I do it a lot.

Yet schools take less talented OL year after yea and still have something better than the 104th offense.

They don't get credit for having the shittiest kicking game I've ever seen. Also, they threw the ball a lot at 42 attempts. It just so happens that they averaged more yards per rush than they averaged per pass, so it made sense for them to run it 37 times.

And Canada's O is currently ranked below ours in passing and in yardage.

Canada is s run first coach. He should never have been hired to get our passing game going.

For a team that is supposedly so well coached, Bama's special teams were bad.

I totally agree with all but the percentage amount. To be honest it could very well be that the present scheme is relative to the current status of the oline because the Bama front 7 would destroy pretty much any scheme used at LSU. Love RC and his perspective.

Yeah, Saban was acting like he's all understanding and basically said they just need to be patient with the kicker when the truth is that he didn't have a machine of an offense, he'd be losing his damn mind on the sideline when that shite happened. I think they've missed 6 extra points this year. I've never heard of that. They don't even need to kick the extra points though because they are winning by multiple TDs every game.

Dude Burrow was running around like a chicken as soon as the ball was snapped. He said he wasn’t scared but....he was.

Do we have that much worse of an offensive line than the schools that scored on Bama?

We are 10th in the SEC in rushing
We are 13th in yds per carry
We are 13th in sacks allowed

Would you say our line is below average SEC?

They didn't punt well either, their KO guy wasn't good and they nearly let us run a KO back.

Our STs were better overall.
