"FWIW, Ryan Clark said on AFR today with regards to the game against alabamm that it's 100% scheme that's the problem."

He is 100% spot on.

Without an offensive line that can block and give your QB time to throw, NO scheme will save us against Bama.

I would amend that to say that he was commenting on being shut out by Alabama. It wasn't a general statement.

It’s obvious. We have no creativity. When our offensive coaches say they have a few wrinkles it means they added one double reverse and maybe a couple wild cat plays. Everything else depends on the run setting up play action. It’s ridiculous we are still dealing with this even after multiple coaching changes. It’s 2018! Take the damn handcuffs off, and let’s run a real spread offense for Christ sakes!

Wrong

That was clearly not 100 percent scheme ...the olineman that were on skates are involved as well . I'd go along w a majority though

Do we have that much worse of an offensive line than the schools that scored on Bama? All of them have out recruited us? Damn, we have a recruiting problem..

Which has the biggest talent gap?

LSU offense vs Bama defense or
LA Tech offense vs LSU defense

The offensive line is terrible. I don't believe that any scheme would work if the offensive line steps out of the defensive guy's way so he can get to the QB.

He's right.

Stop trying to beat Alabama at the line of scrimmage. Throw quick passes to the outside, actually run zone reads and RPOs instead of just having the throw or hand off called every damn time. Stop fricking play faking on 3rd and long.

It is scheme.

I'm not arguing that we shouldn't go to a spread offense. I'm FOR that. I'm just saying it wasn't "100%" scheme the other night. That's ludicrous when you actually saw how fast our O-lineman were getting beat.

Then he’s a dumbass

It may be arguable there’s schematically some things they can do better, but to say it’s 100% is dumb

SHHH! Logic doesn't fit the narrative that they expect you believe. Now we are in a rebuild mode that might require a couple of seasons.

Not saying its not partially scheme.......but, the reason you have to scheme differently against teams like Alabama is because your talent isnt quite as talented as theirs.

I think all of you that think it was just the scheme are 1000% correct. It has nothing to do with being out matched at the point of attack. I mean it’s obvious to the trained eye!!! I have been hearing all the names tossed around for the third OC in three year which is a great idea because it builds predictably and consistency in the scheme. I hope we knock it out the park with a big name hire. I thinking maybe
