Gonna win 9-10 games, play in the outback bowl, and has a great recruiting class. Who does that sound like? Oh yeah, the guy we fired a couple years back. We've made no improvements.

If you're content with 9 win seasons and non new years 6 bowl games, then Orgeron is your guy.

But to my knowledge, LSU's goal is to win SEC west championships and national titles. Neither of those things is going to happen with a head coach that thinks Ensminger is the best OC we can get.

LSU will not win the SEC west, let alone a national title, with coach Faux. He doesn't have the stones to demote or fire Ensminger.

And with all due respect to Ensminger, as long he is at the helm of the offense, LSU isn't sniffing a championship, SEC or otherwise. Damn shame, we've wasted all these years because our head coaches can't directly or indirectly stop fricking up our offense.

That’s right! Remember last year...we tried a different scheme with Matt Canada and it didn’t work....it’ll take some talented, strong, quick, and big offensive linemen to have any semblance of an offense against Bama...the Canada experiment proved that last year...

You mean when we handicapped him and didn’t allow him to call his offense?
You do know our offensive production was much higher last year than this year.

Do we have that much worse of an offensive line than the schools that scored on Bama? All of them have out recruited us? Damn, we have a recruiting problem..

most schools scored against the 2nd and 3rd squad of Alabama

we have a depth problem on the OLine and need to figure out how to move the ball while having the QB run for his life.

Ben, I did not look forward to CFP this year. That said, I was stunned at the offense Saturday. Inexcusable. It hurts on so many levels. If this team cannot beat the gumps, then there is nothing really to play for in terms of accomplishments. 0 has utterly failed in this regard. Any coach at LSU will be held to the same standard.

I really don't understand how anyone can sit here and say that the issue is 100% due to bad coaching or poor personnel. I'm fine with debating which is the bigger issue, but both have some share of the blame.

Again for the 5 millionth time.

Scheme alone may not win. But we should be able to scheme our way to a few points.

What I don't understand is why LSU can't run those short crossing routes that work so well for everyone else. It's fast easy to see and can bust huge yards if blocked. That and double and triple moves. Once the WRs bust open for big yards the defense's will back off to give us 10 so that we don't beat them for 40. That and a legitimate screen game. I'm not talking just RB screens, I'm talking about a legit screen game that goes to several positions so it's not so easily recognized. Get WRs involved, TEs, RBs, FBs hell even our QB is a RB who is a weapon out there. Create some offense. Yes OL needs to block but the scheme should be built with quick throws also. Catch people off guard.

If LSU doesn't get rid of Steve E then Steve E and this staff needs to at least recognize that they should bring in a young assistant to help Steve E open up the play book and if he's too good for that then he doesn't need to be here. There are NFL assistants out there they can look at getting in here at LSU. They can both learn from each other and then the young cat can take over when Steve is ready to retire.

We win a couple of Ships and he'll be able to retire comfortably. It's a win win. The young guy can come learn the system from Steve E and Steve E can get up on all the new schemes.

The offensive line is terrible. I don't believe that any scheme would work if the offensive line steps out of the defensive guy's way so he can get to the QB

They may be terrible. But they are good enough to not get shut out.

Anybody who thinks our talent level is equal to Alabama's talent level is certifiably crazy.

Telling that to our linemen (it's not your fault we got destroyed) who got absolutely man handled all night to keep their heads up.

It’s a lot closer than people think. Our OC didn’t do much to help with that game plan. We have enough talent to score some points.

You're just an idiot. You people would fire Nick Saban if he came back to LSU for losing a game. Who out there is better than Ed O at this time?

The man is not going to be fired while he's getting better results every year so STFU with this nonsense. At this point you look like a freakn fool.

An idiot:

a foolish or stupid person

You may want to look in the mirror, friend. Have you seen the numbers describing our 'offensive' production? QB rating WORSE than last year! 0 point against the gumps. What does that say to you? That I am an idiot. OK.
