Disappointed in the NFL officiating with calls like that even after seeing the replays. That wasn't just a bad cal that was a fricking home crowd gift. I would be livid if was a ram.

I'd rather win because we were the better team and not because of the NFL caring more about money than the sport.

SBnation;rams got robbed

Can anyone here be honest with themselves?

We won by 10. Even if they score a TD there we win by 3.

Plus if that's the only view they have then there's no way in hell you can tell.
ETA: Didn't see the following two gifs. Oh well, it's the NFL. They're going to get things wrong and something was finally to our benefit.

I want us to win more than I want an honest game. I'm not ashamed but that was an obvious first down. They also missed a delay of game against LA.

This is failed logic. That was a huge momentum shift. OP is right. Should have been a first.

So a play that occurred in the 1st QTR was the difference in the game? He was short as soon as that leg hit the ground. His arm was extended throughout, but the ball was placed exactly where the ball was as his leg landed.

A. Even if they get a TD there, we win by 3, covering the spread.

B. If they cared about money rather than the sport, they would do anything they can to get the Rams the win. They desperately want the LA market to thrive.

You going to delete this OP too when everyone calls you a dipshit?

Here's the thread you tried to weasel out of last night:

LINK

Calls go both ways as the game goes on.

They didn't get robbed, the CA on the field stood because there wasn't enough evidence to overturn it. The ball was spotted because of where his leg hit even with his outstretched arms

Why are you even on this board? Your first thought after beating the undefeated Rams and moving to #1 in the NFC was that you didn't like the win?

Hate when people do that. It completely changes the complexion of the game if they get a TD on that drive. Momentum is a big deal, especially after a turnover. It's not simple math.

See I can't get behind a fixed "sport". Parentheses on sport because after you remove the fairness it just becomes an orchestrated show. I assume you are also a fan of WWE wrestling.

I guess we'll never know what would've happened had they given them the first down.

Who cares the saints got robbed of three years because of the bounty nonsense. I would much rather the saints have been robbed of a first down.

But it’s okay to act like the rams would’ve won had they picked up that first? Because that’s what OP is implying.

Every team gets robbed on a call every single game. I thought he had a first. Apparently it wasn’t conclusive enough to overturn, I don’t know what video angles the refs had in the replay. This wasn’t a fix, it was just a bad spot by the refs. Saints will get screwed or probably already have several times over the course of the season

To answer your question: they didn't get robbed and we were the better team.

You could go cherry pick a hundred plays that could've gone either way.

Go cry some more you little bitch made puss.

I don't think there was enough evidence to overturn the call on the field.

Had the officials ruled it a first down the think that call would have stood.

There really wasn't any great angle to see an exact spot, but between all of the angles it seemed like it was pretty obvious they got it. Big momentum change. Either way, it's a moot point since we won by 10. They could have easily only gotten a field goal after that or at best a TD.

Outside of this call, it seemed like the game was done well by the refs. Both teams played fairly well disciplined. Not many major penalties, just two great teams going at it.
