Laugh all you want but it's the truth. Talent had slipped quite a bit. Hell the proof has been right in front of people all along.

Actually, the coach's argument is just that. As in, the statements he made in the press conference last night

They're sitting on 7 and 2 and will more than likely end up 10 and 2. If that's your record during a rebuild year you're doing something right.

Any hire takes awhile to turn things around.

needing to improve a position group is not the sign of a rebuild.

No they don't. I see all the O-haters type this and I have not one time seen a post saying he deserves that.

There is a difference between people saying he will probably get one and he deserves one.

Your right it does take time but unfortunately O has us turned around and heading in the wrong direction.

O is recruiting at an objectively lower level than Miles

Miles recruiting was fools gold. We had roster deficits because we loaded up on skill players (but couldn't get them the ball).

and like Les is transfixed by running an offense that is decades out of date.

This is fact.

It is so stupid to blame coaches after a loss but not giving them credit for exceeding expectations.

that was a fireable offense for the last guy.

oh, wait.
he got fired because his offense sucked.

well that guy scored more points against Bama in EACH of his last 4 tries than O has in his 3 tries COMBINED.

the goal of this program is not 10 wins.

we made that crystal clear the moment Les was fired.

Go check out the “if LSU wins out” thread. You won’t regret it.

O's ceiling is about to be late career Les Miles, most likely. That's better than many thought he would be, but it's the same kind of playbook. Lose to Alabama yearly, not be in the SECC discussion. Lose to a team or two you shouldn't, beat a team or two you shouldn't. Rinse. Repeat.

He has a chance at 11-2, which would be fantastic, but if it's another 9-3 season, that's the best he'll ever do most likely.

I don't think you actually know what "late career Les" means, contextually.

Here, let me remind you
