The simple fact is we have to get better players. There is no coach that can bear Saban out there. I like Coach O but he has to get a true qb and great receivers that can get open and make plays.

This is so much bullshite. Don’t we have a team full of 4 and 5 star wideouts? Yes. Wasn’t burrow a top ten QB coming out and ranked hire than a couple of guys in the nfl right now? Yes.

IT’S THE frickING COACHING.

He said exactly what it is:

quote:

Lose to a team or two you shouldn't, beat a team or two you shouldn't. Rinse. Repeat.

That's what Miles did, and it is what O is doing.

If anyone here is honest about this team, the aTm game should scare you. Their run D is legit, and this team has not played great on the road.

When OM & ARK beat you a combined 31-86 in back to back years, then let's hear it.

Yes. But those of us with actual brains with critical thinking skills know that was just coach speak and knew it would take 2 to 3 years to get our lines where they need to be...

This is more bullshite. Currently the recruiting class is ranked #7 and has an excellent chance of jumping up

Is O not responsible for the worst recruiting class in over a decade?

LF busted ankle cost us WI and AU. One more second on that AU clock and Miles was still coach.
Entire situation was mishandled by Alleva going back to the month leading up to the AtM game in 2015. Then the dysfunction carried into 2016 forward.

Could be worse. If last night had been the third or fourth loss, the narrative would be a program headed in the wrong direction and that would torpedo the 2019 recruiting class.

It’ll always be the same excuses IMO

I really don’t see the point. We should be competing like Georgia.

Don’t even have to beat Bama, but we should be competitive and we should be losing only 1 regular season game a year.

Everyone saying we have overachieved should seriously look just how bad the teams see thought were good actually are.

Miami is trash
Auburn is trash
Ole miss has a horrific D that made us think our offense was better than it was
Miss st was so one dimensional
Georgia win deserves credit, but we were primed after a loss to Felipe Franks

We aren’t aren’t taking advantage of the opportunity before us. Lazy offensive coaching hires,

Fact is had we not got Burrow this is quite possibly a 5 loss team. Our offense has not been good all season and its not for a lack of talent. I don't put all the blame on Steve, He never wanted the job to begin with and was forced into it.

We honestly need a better OC, and it needs to be someone who can build a more modern offense. Our passing game is still lacking, our running game has regressed. True our oline has been patchwork at times but you can scheme better around our line. No excuse to be shut out at home, struggle against SE and Tech at home. Talent is not a problem this was not suppose to be this big rebuild. Its a lack of ability from the OC and head coach.
