XM Channel 33 "1st Wave" is currently one of my favorite XM music channels. Lots of good 80s/early 90s alternative music and songs. Link some of your favorite "lost hits" or overlooked songs from that era here
I'll start with a couple of songs from a group you may remember from the movie "Weird Science" and "Back to School"

Well for starters, don't use the [img] tag on something that's not an image.

I love the Alarm. Saw them opening for the Pretenders at the Saenger in the early 80's, didn't know who they were, and was blown away. I bought the Declaration albumm first thing the day after the show.

Was going through an old hand-me-down box of cassette tapes and came across Joe Jackson. Still sounds good in the right mood.

Pylon-Stop It 1980
X-White Girl 1981
The new wave really started in '79. Great period for music. Wild Gift is an amazing album.
