Unsprung weight is the enemy of handling and suspension parts, and the further from the center, the worse.
Obviously this guy isn't looking to race anyone and has plenty of dough for suspension repairs.
Hopefully can be blamed on youth. Then again, like I tell my daughter...
Know the difference between the idiots in your classes and the idiots driving down the road?
Nothing but age.

Not my style but I do know some of the history. It started in Hawaii during 80s and 90s for beach cruising. The sand gets thrown mostly outside of the truck instead of in every crevice under the truck. The wide tire wide stance helps in sand. They dont need tall sidewalls as there isnt much rock crawling, only riding lava fields. The tow mirrors are obviously to get view of the tire path out that wide, especially backing up. It also evolved with SoCal mini trucks and lowriders of the time of lots of chrome including suspension.

It's a good indicator of who should be taken out when the dollar collapses or the EMP hits.

My truck nuts hang low. The offset wheels give more space for them to swing when I turn without rubbing on the tire

One bad thing is it will sling shite all over the side of the truck
Posted on 10/30/18 at 10:16 am to toosleaux
no, no one can explain that

There is no way this shite is good for the truck right?
Not sure, but it definitely looks like shite. Also a good indication of driver of Hispanic origin.

Can someone explain to me the super offset wheels under the jacked up trucks?
It's them letting you know to avoid talking to or hanging out with them.

I always figured that this and jacked up trucks were telltale signs of insecure men overly-compensating to make up for shortcomings elsewhere.
