The Trump administration is considering narrowly defining gender as a biological, immutable condition determined by genitalia at birth, the most drastic move yet in a governmentwide effort to roll back recognition and protections of transgender people under federal civil rights law.
A series of decisions by the Obama administration loosened the legal concept of sex in federal programs, including in education and health care, recognizing sex largely as an individual’s choice — and prompting fights over bathrooms, dormitories, single-sex programs and other arenas where gender was once seen as a simple concept.

Government should get out of people’s personal lives and shouldn’t define gender at all. Let people be whoever or whatever they want as long as taxpayers aren’t funding it.

I favor this. I also favor offering compassion to anybody who has gender dysphoria . It’s a tough draw .

I’m relatively young and even I remember when gender was just a less explicit way of saying sex, as in biological sex. Progressives have jumped the shark with this nonsense.

But being born with a hoyner or a hoohoo? That's not a choice. I'm not one to argue people who claim they were "born gay" because I'm not them, I don't know what's in their mind, and I could give a shite honestly. But biological birth gender isn't a fricking choice. It's how you were born.
