Back end of the bull combined with wishful thinking and misinterpretation.

I don't think there is proof that dark matter exists either. It's kind of like a variable they throw in their formulas. If I recall properly, they even mentioned this was the case on some show about the universe on science channel. Doesn't stop them from putting their faith in dark matter/energy.
There is plenty of proof that dark matter exists. It exerts gravity just as known matter does. There is observational evidence (by Vera Rubin, the late great astronomer) that galaxies are held together by the gravity of dark matter. The lensing effect of distant galaxies in space is further proof of dark matter located between us and those galaxies. Also, the "dark flow" of some known matter, including our galaxy, towards a spot in the Universe can only be explained by considering the gravity of dark matter.
It isn't faith at all. It's observation, the hallmark of science.

Recently an amazing discovery was made in quantum physics..., the observation that related subatomic particles can be an infinite distance apart but behave as if they're the same particle regardless of time and space......, makes ya wonder.
Quantum entanglement is not a recent discovery. Einstein contemplated it in the early 1900s. He called it "spooky action at a distance."
As we discern the mysteries of extra dimensions, we are discovering even more counter-intuitive aspects of nature. For example, they may explain entanglement by showing that two linked particles actually never move apart, even though our senses and detectors say they can be light years from each other.

He believed that based on probabilities, it was extremely likely.
I've come to not accept the simple "statistical certainty" argument about all that.
It would be like saying that since there are billions birds that live on 30% of the surface of the earth, it's a stastical certainty that there are birds living in the 70% of the earth that is water.
There are too many variables to life to just base it all on the size of the universe.
I'm not saying there isn't intelligent life out there, just that the shear size of the area and quantity of celestial bodies doesn't necessarily convince me in itself.

Am I the only one willing to admit that I dont have a fricking clue as to what that means?

Stop and consider what you just posted.
An atheist will never know they were right.
A believer will never know they were wrong.
Unless we consider the possibility of a continuation of life without the benefit of God.

Josh Gates just proved there is an afterlife in an Expedition Unknown episode.

It should. There are about 2 trillion galaxies in the part of the Universe that we can see. Now consider that the entire Universe is 100 billion trillion times the size of the part that we can see. Yes, the statistical likelihood is that there are countless other intelligent civilizations out there.

For every star, planetary body, and galaxy out there, there are possibly infinite variations of an environment inhospitable to life.
There are many more ways of how not to make a light bulb than there are of how to make one.

In our galaxy alone there are an estimated 33 billion earth-sized planets orbiting within their stars' habitable zones. This estimate is based on observations of the thousands of exoplanets discovered so far.

I remember hearing about that, BT. Kinda like some invisible link between things that are inconceivable far apart.
Wonder and Reverence are great feelings. I love the Fall.
Enjoy, Friend.

Haha wow. There is much more evidence of extraterrestrial life than God. Stephen Hawking was an amazing scientist with a mind that is way above what you can comprehend.

It shouldn’t convince anyone. But considering the size of the universe and the number of “earth-like” planets we know about just in our little backwater corner of it, it’s certaibly persuasive.
