I know we all like a nice 20oz bone in ribeye or flounder menu-ire.

But there are some simple foods that just really do it.

Boiled eggs (hard or soft boiled)
PB&J
Baked potato

What are some of your favorites?
I'm talking really simple. Not much prep, many steps or cook time.

Honestly it’s hard to beat a good turkey sandwich with SunChips.

Seared tuna burger. I keep a package of tuna steaks in the freezer and eat them when I need a quick meal. I can thaw one in about 30 minutes.

Spread some philly cream cheese on a wheat thin and then top that with a pepperoni. Learned that from a roommate at LSU back in the day.

Add a little Crystal or Frank's Buffalo Wing sauce next time. Even better.

Scrambled eggs or over easy, toast and bacon on a plate or as a sandwich.

Bread, homegrown tomatoes, mayo-make a sandwich.

During the Christmas holidays, there's always smoked turkey around. I love smoked turkey on rye with bacon and Durkee's.

I made a smashburger last night. Took no time and was delicious.

Tuna fish salad.

Defrost some Stouffer's mac and cheese. Add whatever you want, stir and bake.

My go-to breakfast on game day since we are usually at a hotel in BR. Preferably on wheat toast.
