I never understood if her reasoning for sitting on it was to protect her confidentiality then what was she going to do with it. The hearinGs were already finished before it was leaked. Was she just gonna keep it to herself forever.

The issue is who removed Ford's anonymity? When Ford went to the WP, she was anonymous. Someone identified Ford as the accuser.

She was a pawn. If she removed her anonymity, it was when she was told to do so. If Feinstein did it, it was because they told Blasey that she would be brought into the public view at some point.

Trump actually said Finestein's body language around this was terrible when it was brought up in session. He made his comments about the leak, and her, before boarding the flight to W.Virginia for the rally. I will try to find a link.
