Will be in Lake Charles and wondering if there is anything worth trying?

Staying at the Golden Nugget. Expensing it to a client, so trying to keep it around $35/person.

Darrell’s. Get the special, add grilled shrimp. And don’t skip the jalapeño mayo.

I’ve been out of the LC food scene for a while, but is Mazens still good?

Le truffle sauvage still open? Way over 35 bucks but worth it back in the day.

Joe’s pizza in Sulphur has some legit NY style pizza.

It's a super fine dining restaurant and never understood why the guys picked Lake Charles, but the food is really incredible.

Mazen's- good fish/crabmeat and steaks
Luna's- casual
Seafood Palace for boiled seafood (crabs are great)
Calla-- great burger at lunch- dinner will bust the budget
Villa- good italian
1910- may bust that $35 budget
Chart House- nice view of golf course- good food.
