The Plaintiffs' attorney who filed late leading to the dismissal, Peter John of The "Q" Firm, better known as Peter Questaverd "P’Ta Mon" John, aka "The Thugs’ Lawyer."
Wonder if the Disciplinary Board is gone get him?

Judge dismisses much of excessive force suit against Tammany deputies
A federal judge has dismissed the majority of a North Shore man's lawsuit that claimed St. Tammany Parish deputies used excessive force, "savagely" beating him, and then denying him and his wife proper medical care at the parish jail.
***
The suit said the couple was in bed in their apartment on May 23, 2017, when deputies banged on their door. Candies confronted a naked, unarmed and disoriented Sims and beat him while Hazlett pleaded for him to stop, the petition says.
***
In his ruling dated Thursday (Sept. 13), Zainey agreed with the Sheriff's Office that the suit was filed a day too late - a year and a day after the incident at the apartment complex. He dismissed all of Sims' excessive force claims against the Sheriff's Office and the three deputies.

for filing a petition too late?
only if he tries to conceal it from the client

This is legal malpractice. His malpractice insurance carrier will be on the hook for whatever amounts his clients would have likely recovered. Wouldn't surprise me if a formal complaint were filed as well.

I prefer Dudley DeBosier. They’re the official injury lawyers of the LSU Fightin’ Tigers.

Wonder if he has malpractice. How many solo's in our state are out there without it?

I dealt with this guy briefly. A client of his tried to bring me in to help with a case for which he had already retained Mr. John. I tried to sit down with him for a conference and he was so openly hostile that I ended up leaving and dropping the client. It was apparent from about two minutes into the conversation that he was completely out of his depth and I am sure he knew that I knew that which led to him being a complete dick and prompting me to leave.

The complaint filed in the present case is pretty atrocious. Aside from prescription for some claims others were thrown out on easily foreseeable grounds.

My cousin used him to sue a doctor that was treating his fibromyalgia incorrectly and he got like 1500 bucks

I prefer Gordon, he's clearly a Christian and he gives 93 bicycles away during Christmas.
