The zebras were spotted wandering and grazing on Lake Forest Boulevard. It's unclear where the animals wandered off from, however their location was not far from where the Universoul Circus is holding shows in New Orleans through September 23 at Old Lake Forest Plaza. The Audubon Louisiana Nature Center is also located on Lake Forest Boulevard.

The UniverSoul Circus will open its doors on September 15 at Old Lake Forest Plaza. Trainers from the circus were overseeing the zebras when the officers encountered them, and no citations or warnings were issued, according to the NOPD.

This is in article on WGNO. NOLA east is so reckless they'd rather have safari animals loose than the locals

Yup checks out. NOPD can move along now or they going to cite the owner for violating the leash laws in NOE?
