The legacy of Lester Earl just keeps on giving

Would you have the same take if this was a report out of Tuscalousy about Tua Tagovailoa?

If this turns out to be true, he should be done with no chance to come back to LSU. I have to think the coaches talked to these guys after the other incidents around sports in the recent past. Someone has to set a strong discipline example for these guys. This shite has to stop.

Reported to LSU police in April and this is just coming to light?
quote:
The warrant said that the crimes were reported to LSU Police Thursday. The information was relayed to police by a person described in the warrant only as “an LSU Official” who had learned of the allegations.

Never good that this happens, but it's just one football player. Not epidemic among the team.

If he wanted to pull that sh!t and get away with it, he should have gone to Ohio State or Florida.
Here, he can GET THE F*CK OUT!
Don't let the door hit you in the a$$.
In fact, don't even bother coming back. We'll pack your sh!t and send it to whatever prison you'll be staying at for the next few years.

What would make you even say anything about an epidemic among the team?

If true, he is rightfully gone.
However, the report notes that the incidents allegedly happened in April and June, and they were just reported after the relationship ended earlier this month (August).
So, one of two things happened. This young woman has been getting the hell beat out of her, and she finally summoned the courage to end the relationship and report the abuse 2-3 weeks after ending the relationship.
Or, the young woman is pissed about the end of the relationship and made some vindictive, career-ending accusations just before the beginning of the football season.
Both, unfortunately, are equally plausible given the human condition. This is why we have a judicial system to sort things out.

The police have had since April to examine medical records and text messages. X-rays and texts speak for themselves, so his presumption of innocence will not be worth much,
absent other, highly unusual circumstances.
So....bye.

She told investigators she and Davis were in a relationship that began in January 2017 and ended earlier this month. She described four specific incidents to investigators.
Earlier this month? And he beat you regularly this entire time? When will these victims get some agency and learn these incidents aren't right? If she thought this was normal behavior between a gf-bf then her parents have absolutely failed her. No one deserves to get beaten but where is her brain in all of this? If someone beats you, you call police and leave the very first time.
If the charges stand, he gone. Luckily WR is our deepest position so there shouldn't be any drop off.
