Evidently, they have only killed 200 nutria in the last 6 months despite having 6 full time employees. Of course, they are discouraging hunters from killing them.
Gotta love Cali!

Under the law, members of the public with hunting licenses are allowed to hunt nutria since the species is classified as a rodent, but the Department of Fish and Wildlife doesn't encourage it.

200 offspring per year? Never knew that.

Liberals. California wants to get rid of useful invasive species like nutria but not bad invasive species like mexicans

"call a couple coonasses and they'll..."
oh wait...we couldn't get rid of them here either.

Still, 200 nutria for 6 people for 6 months? (and 100 at 1 pond)
That's less than 6 nutria per person per month.

Bring in 3 or 4 rednecks from the south and give them a cooler of beer and a few rifles and they will get 500 in a day I'm sure.

That's pathetic. One good Cajun baw would not only have killed every nutria in California in the same amount of time, he would have cooked and consumed them all as well.

Cant tell a nutria and a rabbit when skinned out. They both eat same and are white meat!!!

can only imagine the level of melt that ensues as soon as someone eventually suggests the homeless can star eating them as free source of food
