Any official totals on rainfall yet? I saw some bonkers numbers last night unconfirmed.

30" is tops so far.

That one heavy band is going to train over places near Wilmington that'll be adding 15"-20" in some places

I grew up in the area Florence is destroying and I would like to thank the OT meteorologists. This storm is not even close to finished. I have received word tonight that our hospital is most likely going to flood and we are currently evacuating the nursing home via helicopter.

I'm Southeastern NC born and bred - don't forget these people. It seems like everyone has turned their back on the small towns the last however many years but I'm telling you North Carolina is about to have thousands of forgotten people without water, without power, and without homes. I know life isn't fair and nobody really truly cares but I love this area and I want it to survive. Please keep paying attention, we're going to need it.

I’m south of Raleigh and it’s still raining. Been raining all morning with some downpours. Unfortunately all this has to go somewhere. I feel for everyone downstream.

Kevin's remnants are being donated to the Red Cross so they auction it off to help raise money. He stood his ground
