30.58" of rain in Swansboro, NC
NWS reviewing it... if confirmed it would make it the most rainfall from a tropical system in NC history

Anybody have an update on how Charleston is faring? Thx
I’m just south of Charleston and got a little rain overnight. Now I don’t have to water my lawn for a couple days.

Just talked to a friend that lives in columbia. She had never heard of calling it cola. Said you should get your arse kicked for something like that.
Why is this such a big deal?

Hi-res models are still showing an ADDITIONAL 15-30" of rain. The Harvey records could be challenged.

Please pack light. There’s a weight limit on the bird and since Paul has put on a few LB’s, it’s going to be pushing it.
But keep that between us. I don’t want him getting a complex.
He’s such a delight to have around. Always so jolly

My nephew and his wife live a few blocks north College of Charleston and kind of northeast of Children's Hospital. They've had minimal rain, no street flooding and their power is still on. He said water is being blown out of the harbor, so storm surge and high tides haven't been an issue yet.
