Wish he would have stayed and developed here.

Develop what? Sitting on the bench ability. These guys want to play. I don’t blame him at all. Burrow/Brennan are entrenched as starters for the next 3 years

Was hoping Brennan could redshirt this year and put some weight on
That is still possible. Burrow just has to play, without Brennan, in all but 4 games.

My fear is to protect from that happening, because just 1 play counts as a game, Ensminger leans more towards keeping protection in rather than receivers in routes. Which would result in us not quite "spreading the ball around".

Unfortunately, that's more likely to happen in games against good defenses when we need to be multidimensional because they likely are better at pressuring the QB.

You know it will be on their minds, if only subconsciously.

Most won't miss LN because they were tied to favorites who are more than likely still here. We'll see how it all works out. Who knows what was said and/or promised to keep these guys here this long. I wish we had been honest with them long ago instead what has turned out to be stringing them along to ensure we have depth. Good luck to LN and I'm sure JM is not far. Better bubble wrap JB and MB and hope they turn out to be the real deal. If not, going to be a lot of crow eating in here. We shall see.

Narcisse had 2 major knee injuries. That’s a big risk to hang your fortunes on.

IMO: Lowell’s accuracy & understanding of the playbook is what sent him down the depth chart.

Good luck to him except when (if) he plays The Tigers!

Representing the boot by giving up, because it really is about show casing HIS abilities.

Imagine if every other position cashed it in when they didn’t get their participation trophy......

This stinks, he was only a RS Fr this season.

Why is it a mistake? He very well could end up at another program and start day 1 and hopefully with a coach who isn’t perpetually on the verge of being fired.

The most disappointing thing is the staff has supposedly installed a package just for Narcisse. He was going to see 5-10 snaps in just about every game.

For some reason I feel like the package they designed for him wasn’t up to his liking. Or maybe they haven’t installed a package for Narcisse at all. How do we know they have other than posters on here just taking about it.

I just find it hard to believe Narcisse would transfer if there was a legit package for him to get some playing time. Could be wrong though.

Not for sure. He could compete against Brennan now that he is healthy. Obviously he rather not.

Enjoy CC, I guess.

Yeah, this is probably the best move for him. Can go to a juco for this season and join a D1 school next year.

Outside arm of the state media Culotta said so.

I agree with the poster above. Who knows what is being told and promised to these guys in high school to get them to commit.
MOST recruits get a huge shock when they transition to player.

You go from coaches fawning over you and telling you how good you are for months, maybe years, to day 1, in the heat, with a position coach constantly telling you that you need to get better.

Maybe yelling at you (defensive coaches mainly). Probably heaping tons of disapproving looks and head shakes on you.

And then the other players aren't going to make it easier. They went through the same thing... you need a wake up call too. Not to mention, you're there to take their spot. Keep your head on a swivel, because in one earhole is some coach like Jenkins screaming at you and in the other some Jr wants to plant his helmet in it.

QBs just seem more sensitive to it all. And they receive the most critique. Why? Because so much depends on them. If you can't take that how you going to take it when the opposing LB wants your ribs for a trophy and your own offensive guards are looking at you like what the frick dude?

Or he very well could go CC, end up at another program and end up with another QB competition and lose out.

It's a risk no matter what. He would have at least, potentially, seen the field this season as RS Freshman at LSU.. potentially in crucial moments and further earned trust here.. but he wants no part in showcasing that talent this season at LSU.

All good. I would not be surprised if he still doesn't start at a major program for at least another 2 years.

the young man made a decision the thinks is the best for him. Support him. Im we all have made wrong decisions in life and had to live with them. Who is to say he is making a bad choice? Not me. Only 1 man can judge others.

good luck LN....

Folks saying “I think this is a mistake” like they know anything about what is going on at practice and the locker room.

Watch this board crawfish to all frick all when he is starting for a rival after juco and is tearing up our arse. It was a business decision. Can’t blame him. I wouldn’t hang around either and expect to be truly developed by this staff.

Sounds like an emotional snap reaction, and I don’t agree with it, but best of luck young man

Its impossible to agree or disagree without being at practice everyday and such
