I go into business meeting and see 60 year old men wearing their college ring and it’s just seems strange. It’s like a cult or something. Oh and they aren’t really a part of the SEC.

Sorry the ring thing has just been driving me crazy since moving to Texas.

It’s so they can identify each other in the wild. If 2 see each other, they bang the ring on a hard surface 3 times to let the other know they want butt stuff.

If you look closely at it, you might see poop.

I think it looks so dumb. But it makes it easy to identify crazy people so there’s that.

It makes hooking up easier when you don't have to wonder who is gay.

I feel like the folks at the SEC would disagree with this.

I think it’s a cool tradition. Maybe because my fiancé is a former A&M letter winner though? She’s brainwashed me.

Damn women.

Honestly, of all the strange things aggies do, this one's pretty low on the list.

Do I wear a class ring? No. But it doesn't really phase me one way or the other if someone else does.

It’s kind of like gays with their bandana system, it helps them identify other gays.

And when I say kind of like I mean exactly like.

Because Aggies are gay.

I didn’t realize this was looked down upon. My dad (not an Aggie) always wore his ring to work. I also got a ring but stopped wearing it soon after I graduated (also not an Aggie). I just didn’t feel like dealing with it.

Out of the 15 or so Aggies that I'm friends with or work with, only one doesn't wear a ring. That includes three women as well.

Doesn't bother me. No different I guess than a lot of LSU fans having LSU stuff or purple gold shite all over everything they own. And god help the guys who can't go on a trip or to the beach without making sure everyone knows who they are a fan of.

Do they give each other the hand sign gig em thing? What is it about Texas schools and hand signs? Hook em, gig em, the horn frog thing, t-tech with the stick em up etc...

My Aggie co-worker always wears his, but that is the most subtle piece of material he wears that let's us know he went to A&M.

If I had my college grad ring, I’d wear it. I’m a first generation college graduate, so there is a sense of pride in that.
