This is where libs try to tell us Fascism is a right wing creation.

Americans have a very different concept of the right/left political spectrum compared to most of the world and human history. This is because social conservatism, small government and captalism have become synonymous with right wing in this country. This is not traditionally what being on the "far right" entails.

Traditionally, the far right wing is populated by those who believe the government should regulate most or all aspects of the lives of a population under the premise that this makes people more uniform, harmonious and safer.

Correct, the concept a free republic is historically a very left wing ideology.

At least we started off as an arisocratic republic in all but name - a very old form of government that can reasonably be called 'Right'. Though revolting against a monarch is very leftist.

One issue that's not often discussed is ethnicity.
We all know that Jews were a minority in Germany and they were extremely successful financially. That caused envy.

But what few realize is that long before WWII the Germans who lived in Russia were a minority that were extremely successful financially. The Russians hated them for that. There was ethnic animosity from way back.

America is the only place where God still pays attention so our viewpoint is all that matters.

Had little to do with ideology. Both the Germans and the Russians wanted to conquer Europe. Neither wanted to be conquered by the other. The Germans got beat back and the Russians moved in after the German collapse and snatched as much territory as possible. It's more cultural than economic.

Socialism, in principle, is not totalitarian.

Socialism yes, but Marxism is explicitly authoritarian. This difference led to the split between Marxists and Anarcho-Communists at the First International.

he Nazi party supported private enterprise and business in certain sectors of society recognizing it as more efficient.

It was very few sectors. Nazi Germany had the second highest rate of state-ownership beyond the Soviet Union by 1939, if I recall correctly.

Part of the reason that people commonly associate authoritarians together is that there was an explicit push by the US to describe communism and fascism as similar during the Cold War.

Ayn Rand agrees with Memphis, not with you.

They signed a non aggression pact. Not really allies, more like you leave me alone, I'll leave you alone. Hitler broke the pact when he invaded Russia. Stalin took it personally.

That what just a part of the deal; a means to an end. It was something Hitler was willing to allow to avoid a two front war. Finish off the French and British, then turn on the Soviets. Dumbass couldn’t pull it off, though.

Most “Conservatives” are too ill-informed to know/grasp this fact.

Would have been better if we had stayed with the original template.

Hitler was paranoid about Russia and thought Stalin would stab him in the back. Stalin was paranoid about Hitler and thought Germany would stab him in the back. Basically you had two paranoid leaders playing chicken. Hitler blinked first.
