Having spent the past few days in a hospital myself, I'm not sure I could handle myself as well as you have.
Give that cancer hell!

you are in prayers. I would suggest this book - it will help you walk through the coming days

Absolutely hoping for the best for you. Like many others have said, keep fighting.
Something to help you feel better.

The OT, being the OT I guess, I couldn’t help but notice the single down vote. Wasn’t me.

Damn it. I was really hoping that the surgery was going to be successful. It’s rare that they are able to do that with pancreatic cancer and can be successful when they can.
We will continue to pray. My wife lost her mother to this disease and we donate and volunteer for a Birmingham based gastrointestinal cancer charity every year. UAB does some amazing things.

Keep fighting. The odds are not good, but I know someone in your situation that beat them.

keep your faith and positive outlook. Hopefully you can outlive the diagnosis by many years.

My heart goes out to you. I lost my mother to Pancreatic cancer in 2008. She had the Whipple in 2005. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

So sad to read this today. I too, have followed your posts about your illness. I think the thing that bothers me most this morning is when you mentioned your husband having to leave for work offshore shortly after getting the bad news. I’m sure he would be with you if he could.
I have the utmost confidence in saying that if you need us to hold a fundraiser so your husband could take a couple weeks off from work, we could do it. Lots of great people on this site, and we all need the tailgate practice. Just say the word.
I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Definitely praying for you! Hoping you beat cancer and prove the doc's wrong with the 2 year stamp they gave you. Put your faith in God's hand and he will guide you thru. And i know He'll do it!

So sorry to read this. Don't give up. A lot of good can happen in two years.
Every cancer and cancer patient is different, but I was diagnosed with three types of cancer a little more than two years ago. The initial prognosis was poor but with superb medical care I'm in a much better place today. I'm in a great place, actually. A lot of good can happen in two years.
Keep the faith and I have every best wish for you.
And you're right about Tigerdroppings. For more than 14 years this site has kept me entertained, informed and (on the Politics board) amazed. I don't know who this Chicken guy is, but if we ever meet I'll happily buy him a drink and tell him "thank you."
Good luck!

My mom was given a year and made it six.
You never know what new treatments they will come up with in one year, two years... six years.
I wish you the best.
