It is difficult to overstate what Donald Trump did today.

This was supposed to be the time when Donald trump stood up and defended this country. Instead, he bent the knee to Vladimir Putin.
He praised an arch rival at the humiliation and expense of his advisors and the United States intelligence community.
He had the audacity to blame the Mueller investigation for worsening relations between the countries. Why he conflates the Trump campaign/Russian collusion subtext with the communist hacking attempts and accomplishments is absolutely mind boggling.
He was asked point blank by a reporter on the world stage whether he believed the US. intelligence community or Vladimir Putin nd he goes off on some crazy rant about Hillary Clinton's emails. (I literally cannot believe I just typed that sentence). Of course, he also said Putin "was extremely strong and powerful in his denial today".
Did y'all notice Putin's expressions today? He seemed unable to mask his delight when trump went on his unhinged spiel about the FBI, HRC, and the Democrats.
Newt Gingrich said today this was by far the worst mistake so far of the Trump presidency. Today will go down in history as one of the most disgraceful performances ever witnessed of an American president. It's certainly the weakest this country has ever looked in a Cold War/Post Cold War meeting with an adversary. You will not be able to think of anything that remotely compares because there isn't any. Never before has an American president sided with an adversary over his own people.

He knew it would piss you off.
Worth it, IMO.

It's not too hard for you to overstate it, huh?

Yes it was vile that a "journalist" asked that question at a meeting like this.

It was definitely a bad look IMO
That being said, it's pretty annoying watching the media repeatedly present assumption as fact. It is an ASSUMPTION that Putin ordered and directed the election manipulation.

Obama told me in 2012 that the Cold War was over and Russia was not a threat...

I’m sorry Daddy never accepted you and that you identified with your domineering mother and that your Straight brother got all the glory . But at some point, you have to stop making this board pay for it with all these cries for help masquerading as threads.

It'll be forgotten by the end of the week, when another progressive outrage will bubble to the surface.

Is it at all possible that a drama QUEEN like you could muster up any more faux self-righteous indignation?
Don't worry drama QUEEN, you only have a little more than 6.5 years of having the greatest President in our lifetime as YOUR President.

It wasn’t a great look for him but in the end his policies are what matters. So yes I’d prefer he didn’t say retarded shite. And I’d prefer he was as hard on Putin as he was on NATO, which I liked.
The truth is that you (Toddy) are less concerned with actual policies and results than with rhetoric and talking points. He hasn’t actually been soft on Russia with regard to his policies, which should make you happy.

You know putin offered to have mueller come and investigate the Russians in cooperation?
I mean...isn’t that what you want? Trump to get put in to cooperate in the investigation? Or is it that you just want something to bitch about?

There's a lot to address in your post, and I don't want to write a novella, but let's take a look at this statement.
Isn't the collusion 'subtext' very reliant on the 'communist hacking' attempts, at least in terms of any kind of criminality? Or am I supposed to believe that the campaign was colluding with the Russian government without sanctioning or at least being aware of said alleged hacking attempts?
