Roberto’s is not “fancy” but the owner used to be part owner of mansurs , so the food is generally pretty good

But for the OP , I think Ruffinos would be the best fit, get the cedar plank reddish with crab topping

Lattis Landing at Houmas House used to be up there, I have not been in a couple of years, so I don't know where the food currently stands.

Roberto’s is a place you take guys from the plant to lunch. It’s not fancy.

don't know of any place that offers bass, other than sea bass. Regardless of where you go, you need to try all of these at different restaurants to know what you're missing (or not).
