Reading the transcript, he starts off saying all sorts of things about religion, comparing crap to Adam and Eve.
This was in congress was it not? What happened to separation of church and state?

Then Cain's seed will be had in rememberance, and the time come when that curse should be wiped off.

My source for the flashy picture is a well-used and factual site used routinely by ex-Mormons like myself. LINK

I have to believe Jim McMahon wasn't aware of this. He's got some explaining to do.

That didn't exist in Deseret.
Also B. Young killed American soldiers and was pardoned.

He's a Mormon. Utah would be a theocracy if it was up to them.

Didn't exist in Utah at that time. Brigham Young was both prophet of the church and governor of the territory.

They/he also believe the garden of Eden is in Missouri, Satan holds power over the lakes and rivers so you aren't allowed to swim there, no hot drinks, no basketball while on mission for some reason, no oral pleasures and because of all the craziness they are allowed a loophole in "Thou shall not lie (bear false witness) so long as it is for a good cause...like how many wives you actually have.

But seriously...is it that much crazier than believing that a Jewish zombie that is actually his own father and can make you live forever in a place of perfection if you spend Sundays symbolically eating his flesh and drinking his blood while you telepathically tell him that he is your master and you adore him so that he can remove an evil force from you that was placed there because a woman made from a rib bone and dirt was tricked into eating fruit from a magical tree by a talking snake. These nut jobs have plenty of their own universities as well.

Utah didn't even become a state until like 20 years after Brigham Young died so...

During his famous debates with Sen. Stephen Douglas, Lincoln explained to the crowd: “I am not, nor ever have been, in favor of bringing about in any way the social and political equality of the white and black races … I am not nor ever have been in favor of making voters or jurors of Negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor to intermarry with white people; and I will say in addition to this that there is a physical difference between the white and black races which I believe will forever forbid the two races from living together on terms of social and political equality. And inasmuch as they cannot so live, while they do remain together there must be a position of superior and inferior, and I as much as any other man am in favor of having the superior position assigned to the white race.”

I would love to see the media come after the Mormons. Those people would not give a frick and would not budge an inch.

And this is why you haven't seen the media or the PC crowd go after the Mormons. They want easy bullying targets. For example, the instant the Ole Miss administration showed they were willing to give ground, they made themselves a bitch forever.

And most of the early Mormons were against slavery so that's a bs excuse. Brigham Young took a pro slavery stance because he wanted to appeal to southerners and convert them to mormonism
