I'm gonna say it's legit. Too coincidental. I think this is some kind of viral stunt by Target to take some of the wind out of the little prime tjmaxx clearance table sale and the punchline will be that Target ends up honoring all the purchases. The cost of these orders that went through are next to nothing to them.

How much internet cred and social media buzz would they get out of that?

I have the ring spotlight which is basically the same thing but doesn't have a doorbell.

It's alright. It buffers events so you catch the movement before it starts and it automatically saves little 1 minute clips for 2 months. You can download any you want to keep longer than that.

I have too much going on at my house so I have video fatigue and ignore the notifications which go off constantly all day long.

It's 2.4ghz only so the video is hit or miss without a strong signal.

You are very limited to what your can do in the app but that's not a bad thing since most webcams are more diy for hobbyists. Ring pretty much handles everything after you wire it up and connect it to your WiFi.

Ring support is 10/10.

I'm hoping the $3/mo cloud storage fee goes away or gets added as a prime benefit now that Amazon owns ring..I might actually pony up for prime if that happens.

What's horrible about it? My entire 3800 square foot home is serviced very well by Orbi.

I've had both and yes it is imo.

It uses better motion technology, has custom motion zones and can operate off of 5ghz wifi

The camera is exactly like the floodlight cam. Very similar to the Pro doorbell in functionality.

Just doesn't do the 5ghz wifoike the pro doorbell does

Edit: my spotlight can is the wired version

Battery spotlight is regular. I think wired is pro. Here are the 2 styles. Real image version of pro vs others.

Drops connection 20x a day. Apparently it's a common problem. Glad yours works well.

If you looking for SSD's (NVME), Samsung will be discounted. I believe the 1TB will be $45 off. There will be some EVGA gpu's as well. Not sure what else.
