That's ok for his size.

And being a ball player, not direct lifter.

WTF, why is he DL maxing in his Romaleo 2 squat shoes?

I deadlift nearly 500 and I’m 185.

That’s not all that impressive tbh

I've seen better deadlifts by girls in the quad.

I should have known that this post would bring out all of the gym rats to compare their maxes.

I'm an idiot. Clicked this wondering what reason someone would start a thread saying LSU had a Zombie on the team playing OL.

I mean, sorry. It’s not all that impressive for a guy who weights 320+ to deadlift 600 pounds. Perhaps to some of you non-athletes, this seems incredibly impressive. Idk

he got that fairly easy and your "nearly" 500 lb deadlift is what's not impressive

Downvote all you want, but people deadlift 501 at about 180 with a belt all the time. That says that a big heavy squeezing out only a hundred pounds more at who knows how much bodyweight says I'm correct.

I mean, it's 600 pounds. It's not light. But it's not a particularly impressive number at all, maybe unless this kid is a brand new freshman, and I still don't know why he's deadlifting in squat shoes.
