Look in the TD Recipe Book. I have one in there and they may be another.

Oh for fricks sake as you put it. Wasn’t looking for credibility, hope I don’t lose my ability to post now that I’ve lost my credibility.

Seems y’all get all riled about about chili. Wasn’t trying to piss y’all off, just stating a fact.
I’m sure Bevo can hold his own with you Shingo.

You didn’t state a fact. If you believe you did, you’re more ignorant than we thought.

Don't you mean according to their competition rules?

A traditional chili is beef and chiles. No tomatoes and no beans. I prefer it that way, but I won’t turn down ground beef and tomatoes. I will turn down beans though. Can’t stand beans ever.

Take a look at the ICS website. You'll see their sponsor there.

Below is a photo from the ICS Facebook page in which they announced an event in MD. Can you see what's in that pot of chili?

same.

ill never forget: when i was a kid, I wanted Chili. My mom said that she made some with no beans and I was pumped. Take a bite or two and notice something is immediately off. i was like "mom, what did you put in here." she starts saying she used some new seasonings and im like "nah nah nah, you made it with beans and mashed them in my bowl so I couldn't tell." she had tears rolling she was laughing so hard. she got called out instantly and couldnt help but laugh. wanted to throw that bowl at her face

I don't like beans in my chili either. I also prefer ground meats. Eat it the way you like it. Sometimes, I use a tomato product. Sometimes, I don't. It's all still chili.

Maybe this will be the new famous chili thread.

Nah....the other one can't be beat.

If i'm eating chili out of a bowl, by itself. Give me the beans. If it is chili for a hot dog or fries, or basically a topping, no beans.

I cook for my own enjoyment and for the enjoyment of those that I’m serving.

Kinda weird to cook just to piss off a imagined group of people.

I much prefer a bowl o red because it’s more of a stew than ground beef chili. I like slow cooking things for hours and having that chuck roast just fall apart.

But I do love a bowl of ground beef chili over some rice with some cheese and Fritos.
