Hitting .217 this season, hasn’t really ever had a great hitting season, and expects to get a huge contract. All hype, no substance. Papelbon should have kicked his arse when he had the chance.

Nah, it's still Derek Jeter.

He's having a bad free agency year so far. Definitely not a $400 million dollar man.

Today I learned that having a slump in the first half of a season negates all previous years combined.

I won’t put too much stock in his batting average halfway through a season but I agree he is overrated. He has always been billed as a 5-Tool player when he really only has 2, maybe 3 tools. He has always been lumped together with the very best players in the game but he is not in the same category as a Mike Trout, Mookie Betts, or Manny Machado.

Dexter Fowler could give him a run for his money.

I understand going all the way back to 2015 is exceptionally difficult...last season wasn't too shabby either.

Gary Sanchez is up there. I can't believe MLB Network had him ranked as the 26th best player coming into the season.
