You cannot upload existing pics from your phone into the app. You must take a live picture of yourself from within the app, and you must input your fingerprint within 10 seconds of taking the pic to verify yourself.

Optionally, the app can perform facial recognition to verify it is a picture of you and not someone else.

Preferably, the app can force you to take an updated picture periodically, such as every month.

The primary benefits of these requirements are to eliminate fake users and outdated pics of real users. The app could also put date stamps on every pic so you know exactly how old a pic is.



I'm also thinking about advanced features like gamification to make the app more competitive and fun to use instead of simply swipe left or swipe right, but I haven't quite conceptualized those aspects yet. In a nutshell, there will be ways to acquire points, which can then be used to gain an advantage over the competition.
For men, it could mean being more visible to desired females and gaining communication priority over other men for high-demand women.

Also, there could be a rating system (much like the infamous OT tier system). The higher your rating, the more benefits and access you are granted. For instance, you could be barred from contacting potential mates who are rated in a higher tier than you, and the only way to communicate with them would be if the higher-rated person initiated the communication. Alternatively, you could be allowed to express generic interest to others rated higher than you, but you wouldn't be allowed to initiate a conversation with a customized message.
